1. LIMITED INVENTORY

Villa rentals offer a unique one-of-a-kind experience. From an inventory standpoint, each villa has only 52 weeks per year available for clients to enjoy. This is very different from traditional hotels that may have hundreds of the same room types available every week.

Once your client has made their villa selection, it is important to finalize the reservation as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of losing their villa dates to another client.

*In most cases we can provide you with a 24 hour courtesy hold while you finalize our reservation form and payment to our travel industry trust account with your client.

2. WHOLESALE RATES

As the leading travel agent supplier of full service-wholesale luxury villas, we have negotiated the best rates and terms with our villa managers and partners. We pass this savings on to you as our agent.

3. DESTINATION AIRPORT TRANSFERS INCLUDED WITH MOST VILLA RESERVATIONS

Many villa reservations include complimentary return airport transfers at the destination. This is subject to group size and transfer distance from the airport to the villa. Upon arrival your client can be greeted by our local representative and taken to their villa with a warm welcome.

4. 24 HOUR CONCIERGE

Our 24 hour villa concierge team and local concierge are available to you and your client through their entire stay.

5. CERTIFIED VILLA ADVISOR SUPPORT

You have a team of Travel Industry Certified Villa Advisors available to you at all times. This benefit offers peace of mind that is not found with most owner direct villa rentals or rentals through non-regulated suppliers within foreign destinations.

Setp One

Selecting the best villa for your client
Enjoy our easy to navigate collection of villas and select the best villa for your client. Please contact us if you would like our qualified recommendations.

To open a file and serve your client request, here are the details we require from you by telephone or email.

Once the villa selections have been made and rate and availability have been confirmed, the next step is to send your client our villa links for review. This is easily done with a simple cut and paste from your browser. All villa links will appear to your client in a private labeled format.

Setp Two

Confirming the reservation
Once your client has finalized their villa selection, we will then send you our Villa Reservation Form for signature and payment to our Travel Industry Trust Account. Once received by Private Villa Rentals, the reservation is confirmed and a confirmation will be sent to you.

Your Private Villa Rentals team is here to help you finalize your villa selection as efficiently as possible. Please remember that villas are rented on a first-come first-served basis and availability can change daily. If a 24 hour courtesy hold will assist you, we are able to accommodate with most requests.

Setp Three

Once ther eservation is confirmed
Once we have confirmed your client’s villa reservation your Certified Villa Advisor will assist in planning and organizing details for your client’s stay including; staff, reservations, groceries, butler services, chefs, excursions, car rentals, tee times, spa reservations and any other service that is offered at the destination they are traveling to.

Setp Four

24 Hour Concierge, Departure Package and Arrival Dates
Our 24 Hour Concierge will be available to you and your client throughout their stay and until they return home. Once we have received your client’s reservation form, arrival details and payment we will then send you our Departure Package. This includes all details and itineraries for your client’s stay and how they will be greeted upon arrival at their destination.

MISSION AND MANDATE OF THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY COUNCIL

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario’s mission is to promote a fair and informed marketplace where consumers can be confident in their travel purchases. We also support the mission of the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services to maintain a fair, safe and informed marketplace as it relates to Ontario’s Travel Industry Act, 2002. We accomplish this through developing high standards and efficient, effective and relevant regulatory mechanisms in areas such as:

  • Consumer protection.
  • Consumer education and awareness.
  • Registration, inspection, supervision and discipline of registrants.
  • Investigating and mediating disputes between consumers and registrants.

TICO has set up programs to support our mandate that aim to promote fair and ethical competition in the industry, support a Code of Ethics, maintain and enforce programs that provide for consumer compensation in specific circumstances, promote an expected level of education as a criterion for registration and encourage legislative and regulatory amendments aimed at industry professionalism and consumer confidence.

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario, Canada (TICO) is a self-managed, not-for-profit corporation, responsible for administration and enforcement of the Ontario, Canada Travel Industry Act, 2002 and Ontario Regulation 26/05 on behalf of the Ontario, Canada government.

The legislation governs all of the approximately 2,500 travel retailers and travel wholesalers registered in Ontario, Canada. In addition, TICO administers an industry-financed Travel Compensation Fund.

TICO was established in 1997 as a delegated administrative authority under the Safety and Consumer Statutes Administration Act, as a result of the mutual desire of the government and the travel industry to enhance professionalism, increase consumer protection and provide an effective and efficient regulatory body. The Ministry of Consumer Services continues to be responsible for the Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002 and Ontario Regulation 26/05 as well as general oversight of TICO.

TICO is a wholly financed by registration fees paid by Ontario travel agencies and travel wholesalers. The Travel Industry Compensation Fund is financed entirely by Ontario travel industry registrants through contributions based on their sales revenues.

TICO has its own Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer and manages its own financial and operational affairs. CEO Michael Pepper is also Registrar of the Travel Industry Act, 2002. TICO’s 15-member Board of Directors consists of 10 industry representatives and five ministerial appointees.

We have negotiated the best rates and terms with our villa managers and partners. This allows us to always earn a 10% commission on all villas reservations as well as receive incentive rewards for your monthly sales production.

10% COMMISSION ON ALL RESERVATIONS
You will always earn a base 10% commission of the gross price of each reservation. (Taxes are not included).

MONTHLY SALES INCENTIVE PROGRAM
In addition to your 10% commission on all reservations, your sales volume is tracked on a monthly basis and categorized in to one of our four sales achievement reward levels. A bonus check will be sent to you at the end of the month based on your level of achievement.

Qualifying sales production is calculated on gross sales submitted to and received by Private Villa Rentals from the first day of the month to the last day of the month.

QUALIFYING SALES PRODUCTION EXAMPLE:
Full Payment Reservation
You have a client that has reserved a villa in the Turks and Caicos for $25,000. The client submits their full payment for the reservation within a single month. In addition to your 10% commission of $2,500 for this reservation you have now qualified to receive a $375 monthly sales achievement rewards bonus check.

Reservation Deposit with Final Payment Due
If your client’s travel dates are greater than 90 days of departure and they select to pay 50% at time of booking and the remaining 50% within 90 days prior to departure date, your qualifying monthly sales production for this reservation would be accounted for in two separate months of $12,500. This would mean that in addition to your 10% commission of $1,250 for each of those two months for this reservation you will also receive a $100 bonus check for each of those two months of sales production.

*Monthly Sales Achievement Rewards are qualified by final payments received by Private Villa Rentals. All Commissions and Monthly Sales Achievement Rewards are subject to the Private Villa Rentals agent agreement.
